Instead of a bumbling and inefficient tool of society, the radical [libertarian] sees the State itself, in its very nature, as coercive, exploitative, parasitic, and hence profoundly antisocial. The State is, and always has been, the great single enemy of the human race, its liberty, happiness, and progress. Murray Rothbard, Reason [March 1974]

Being married to a woman is like a EULA.

You bypass all the double talk and just hit the "I Agree" button without paying attention to anything else.

Order is not a pressure imposed upon society from without, but an equilibrium which is set up from within. J. Ortega y Gasset

If Political Correctness truly was about kindness and respect, it wouldnt need to be imposed on us. After all, we already have a mechanism for the social cohesion Political Correctness is said to represent: its called manners. And we already have specific individuals charged with insuring that good manners are instilled and upheld: theyre called parents.-Jeff Deist

I do not choose to be a common man. It is my right to be uncommon if I can. I seek opportunity not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state look after me. I want to take the calculated risk; to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed. I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence nor my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid; to think and act for myself, enjoy the benefit of my creations, and to face the world boldly and say, this I have done. Dean Alfange

Microsoft has developed its own Linux.

Maybe it is like a pimp likes hookers - if they can make a $ off it.

Yeah, but I have to wait till Alzheimers kicks in 1st.

My favorite quote from Randicus Draco Albus. A member on this forum and buddy.

Quote:
rokytnji has installed a BSD! The end of the world as we know it.

39. Other than the fact Linux has a cool name, could someone explain why should use Linux over BSD?
