I got the .tar.gz (after a lot of searching, I think they just added a link to their source page).
http://ftp.ximian.com/ browse to evolution-connector.

I moved to /usr/local/src, tar -zxvf etc.

./configure gave one error:

Code:
checking Evolution version:... configure: error: Evolution development libraries not installed.
I'm running FC1, Evolution installed that came with Distro disks. Any ideas on how to get the devel libs? Thanks guys.

Haven't been able to find anything in the README files.

I havent tried compiling yet (dont have a reason too just yet)... from what I have read you can download readcarpet.. (if you have a supported version of course) and use the update feature from red carpet to install a working installation...
however Im sure that Fedora is not on the supported distro list.

Might want to try downloading all the Evolution sources and compiling from sourse :shrugs: ???

I have actually downloaded all the Evolution source and have been trying to compile, but I get a configure error trying to compile Evolution, too. This time:
Code:
checking db3 header information... configure: error: Found db.h is not version 3.1.17
So I got the db-3.1.17 .tar.gz and compiled/installed just fine. Still, I get the same error. Do you think I have to reboot?

Just as a reference, I looked at db.h and it apparently is version 4.1.25. Go (con)figure.

I think anyone can download Red Carpet, however, I think there are severe limitations on what distros the Connector package will work with. You'd think using the source, it wouldn't matter. Ah, well . . . back to Outlook Web Access for e-mail.
