You can just get boot CDs....
You will need to tell us more about the configuration (hardware and SW) + exactly what happened.

Google this:- UBCD.
The Ultimate Boot CD. It is an ISO disk image of a small (185Mb) CD. Contains many images both dos, win, and *nix. With a boot choice to many rescue systems. Now at version 5, maybe even 6, by now. I have one in my laptop case at all times, it has saved my butt, and many others over the 2 or 3 years since I found it.
What a little gem it is.

Are you asking how to get at your linux files from Windows?
Hey Patrick. Where do you get Winslows that cheap?
Here in Australia a retail copy of Win XP is $360 aus.
Consider the exchange rate of about 75\80c US for $1 AUS
One more weird thing, To install our dictionaries, etc for MS in Aussie. We have to hunt through "foreign" languages.
Are you asking about my sig? Well, to be honest, I'm not sure exactly how much win32 costs, it's been a long time since I looked (thanks to the penguin, and the occasional demon). Maybe it was just at $200 three years ago (when last I looked) or maybe I'm misinformed. You decide. :-)
