Most people don't take him seriously. Look I'm a conservative so I just laugh and applaude him taking liberals' money.

I do love the link to that O'Reilly sitre showing the book in the garbage, because he had to buy the book to do that. Idiot!

320mb, so in your opinion, Bush is the hero of all Americans? Nobody else should have their individual opinions?

It's your kind of intolerant attitude to points of views different from yours that really make American unpopular in many parts of the world.

Your signature says: the degree of civilization in a society can be judged by entering its prisons.

What about Guantanamo Bay? What about Abu Ghraib? If we judge America by those yardsticks then where would you be?

Think about it...

at least i had the decency to say asshole conservatives, not conservative assholes. do unto others....

anyway, at least kerry fought in the war. he may have been "unpatriotic," but what bush did was bordering on treason.

No, no, don't get me wrong BajaNick.

I was just trying to point out that clubbing all anti-war protesters as traitors was plain wrong. Blind patriotism sometimes can harm a lot more than it can help.

I pointed to Bush because Bush has a simliar mentality of clubbing all anti-war protesters as evil.

Ya know, Im reading these posts trying to figure out where in the world poeple get these extremely bizarre ideas, Bush bordering on treason, How? Who ever said anti war protestors were evil? You all need to take a break from the propaganda and take a non partisan view of things for a change. What was this thread about?

Right! This thread needs a break...

But why do so many of you have a problem with Moore? Poor guy. Let him have his fun and it's up to you whether to see his movie or not. Calling him a traitor just because he makes an unpopular movie (at least in some people's opinions) is not a fair comment.

Anyone that is familiar with michael moore, knows that from his first movie, Roger and me, Must know that he is very opposed to capitalism and that movie was nothing but an attack movie as all his other movies are. Its very clear to a non-partisan, objective person that his films are full of half truths and out of context dialog also I need help in the Linux-General section I am having a problem with modprobe and.......

What's wrong with being opposed to capitalism? What's wrong with being partisan and non-objective? Those things don't make him a traitor does it? That's all I said: don't call people traitors just because they have differing points of view which may even be radical of totally different.

Well, this is a general problem with democracy anyway how many people just vote a certain way because they like the tune in a political advertisement, or the way someone looks or does their hair - or vote on some well written speech...

People are easy to influence. Advertisers do it every day. Most people can be swayed with various suggestion.

WE are just sheep after all

Then that's a problem with the people... not with democracy.
