Met the chick from X-Men the other night

Rebecca Romijn or something came in town for the Kentucky Derby and was at the Barnstable Party. She was very cool, came up and said hi and talked for a moment. Kid Rock was at the event too but I had met him years back, shot pool and drank beer. Im not wide eyed over stars but my friend was like holy crap thats the chick from X-Men and she laughed and came up and chatted.

Ayee.. you know your not star struck when you get to hang out with Dave Matthews and band after a concert where your more interested in the free alcohol and food than talking to the band members.. though, they were really cool, the food was better.. but the concert rocked..

Use to wait tables in Indianapolis.. pretty much met all the Colts, Peyton Manning, etc.. served and waited on all the Pacers once and Reggie Millers wife is super hot.. waited on the Utah Jazz head coach as well while working there and no one knew who he was and sat him back in a corner. I mentioned it to my manager and he tried his hardest to make him feel special, I never said a word, treated him like any other person eating at the restaurant.

Met and have talked to many bands at many concerts.. no biggie really, too many to list.

Though my girlfriend has waited on Edward Norton, Tommy Lee Jones (who's agent with him was a prick she said), Jason Patric and several others.. oh and she also got to meet Kevin Spacey and be in the movie "Life of David Gale" where she was seen walking around the corner at the beginning of the restuarant scene for a split second where Kevin is meeting his lawyer for lunch.. etc.. She got paid like $100.00 for it.. cause well, they closed down the restuarant for a day to shoot it where she worked..

I met Reggie Miller and his wife years back at some place called the Vogue in Indianapolis.

Met Muhammed Ali when I was a kid,

OJ Simpson was in town at the party but I avoided him. Didnt want to get stabbed for saying the wrong thing. LOL!
Met the Beastie Boys at Lollapalooza 94 or something.
Met some uncool celebs too.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, stars are all very well and good, but I'd rather meet someone who's done something important like Linus Torvalds, or RMS

you mean you wouldn't want to meet Paris Hilton? She's done something important but I can't recall what she actually did. I mustve been drinking KY Bourbon.

Oh yeah.. didn't mention the nerd stars.. I have met Linus Torvalds and well, Patrick Vokerding literally hung out in our booth for 2 days at LWE San Francisco..

Haha.. I remember the "Vogue" in Indy.. most bars in Indy don't even come close to amounting to the amount and type of bars we have down here in Texas..

I can care less about stars though.. I don't make any effort to bother them if I see one in public cause I know I wouldn't want to be bothered if I was always in the public eye..

Um... No. She's a spoiled brat with a cheap webcam who can't even keep track of her cell phone

I met George Takei (Sulu from Star Trek) at a Trekkie convention. My last girlfriend found out that I had been to one of those and I was a little scared my nerdiness was too much for her to bear....

She got over it. Then again we aren't together anymore......

No, I didn't have either one of those.

But before I own up to this let me say that I was young and apparently not interest in girls yet. I actually bought an insignia of The Next Generation. Not only that, but I wore it on my jacket. I eventually became interested in girls, but the irrepairable damage was done......

I didn't admit that part to my ex. That may have been a break up right there.

I graduated High School with the Korean guy from Lost (also, Babylon Crusade, guest on Charmed and Star Trek, and a bit part in Spider-man 2),... same HS the Rock went to a few years after I graduated... He was an OK guy (Danny Kim, I mean, never met the Rock), but a bit of an ultra-prep...

Hell-o,

I met George Lindsey once. He was coming out of a Books-a-Million and had a chicken leg in his hand. He told me to buy his book.

Blessed Be,

Jason Hodges
