Make linux easier?

Is there any good linux distro that is easy to use and not mandrake. I don't want lindows or anything commercial. I would like to set up linux on windows users computer and I want to make it easy for them to administer their computer.

Browse the Distro forum, your not the only one that has asked this before..

There are many to use, but its really up to the user and how inclined they are in using new stuff compared to something they're use to using.

Have a look at Lycoris, i think it's a good suggestion for a linux,
to "used to windows" users

(unfortunately you cannot download the new update 3 until after 1 november)

That's not a reason to delete, only makes you aware that your answer is most likely already out there.

oh okay. Just tell me what the deal is with lindows. Why would anyone buy from them? They don't make availible the source code and it is not good for anyone other than casual computer users.

Lindows is designed primarily for the "point ant click" crowd that doesn't want to spend a great deal of time tweaking their systems. It's a good entryway into Linux for those who don't fit into the category of a "computer geek".
