kazam under kubuntu 14.04

I am using kazam under kubuntu.

The programme works well but pruduces large mp4 files. I would like to produce much smaller file sizes, say, equivalent to the flv file size.

Can anyone offer any advice.

Ps. How does kazam rate alongside similar programmes?
Pps. For some reason, I am not allowed to use tags in this forum!

if this mysterious kazam application does not have an option for this, you can transcode the mp4 file to something smaller.
maybe with ffmpeg.
