Is Colin McRae Rally 3 for the PC bunk

Hi all

I've recently bought Colin McRae Rally 3 for the PC and was hoping for a pleasant improvement on McRae Rally 2 for the PC - For Rally 2 I regularly post times in the top 100 in the World , 2 in the top 10, several in the top 20, 30 etc so I have played Rally 2 alot and enjoyed it - For me atleast Rally 3 is not a patch on Rally 2 - there seems to be far less grip or connection to the surfaces - its almost as if your driving a hovercraft, not a rally car - there seems to be a strange horizontal "spinning top" motion to much of the cornering - you can't use other cars in the main Championship section and most importantly you can't customise your car setup when Time Trialing - which is truly horrid. The graphics seem to be a little more realistic but I prefered the typically clear contrast between track and surroundings in Rally 2 - all in all I'm not impressed - I hope Codemasters enable customisation of cars in Time Trialing in particular for Rally 4 - also I'd like to feel more connected to the surfaces and tracks rather than driving a hovercraft on a spinning top.
