I don't know that much about Indian politics. Is the President a ceremonial post or does he have a lot of power?

Well, linux(and FreeBSD) is(are) much better than other OS's and its natural that those who want to go for better things goes for linux.I was pointing out that the(Indian) President supports linux advocacy.Policymakers supporting the opensource advocacy is a new trend indeed.
