Merry Christmas to all Christians!
Happy Hanukkah to all Jews!
Happy Yule to all Wiccans!
Happy Pancha Ganapati to all Hindus!
Happy Whatever December Holiday to those I missed!
Finally HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!
And hopefully a life worth of living for those who can't afford to or have some other reasons, like war, which might prevent them from celebrating as much as they possibly wanted to.
I'd like to wish everybody a happy new year, a celebration of your choice etc. but I'll rather not to; too many can't have it anyway, so it's unfair. Maybe next year, maybe not.
You forgot Kwanza - in today's PC environment that's deemed enough to "prove" you're a racist. Also I missed your happy Eid al-Fitr post at the end of Ramdan...
frankly speaking ... when i saw that "Merry Christmas to all Christians!" ... i felt a little bit weird ...
i mean , christmas is basically massively for eveyone regardless of religions and some-other things ... but as for the rest of the festivals , not so i think ...
//merry christmas and "people cant plan properly with an empty stomach" , have mercy on them ...
You also forgot to wish happy christmass bashing to us militant atheists. Or happy boxing day to bargain hunters or a successful gouging season to capitalists.
How soon until "happy new year" is considered offensive to people using other calendars?
I doubt Christmas is as big in India, China (mainland), Saudi Arabia, and various other places as it is majority Christian nations. Not to say there aren't Christians in those places but it isn't the dominant religion.
In the U.S. it is fairly universal but that's because the majority of Americans are (or at least claim to be) Christians. Despite that there are a fair number of others such as Jews, Muslims, and those who actually celebrate Kwanza that do not celebrate Christmas even here.
