helpdesk recomendation

Hey guys, we are looking to get a better helpdesk system in place than what we currently have.

Currently we are using Polar Helpdesk... needless to say, I'm not the most happy with it, and I'd like a few more features.

What I'd like.

- Web based (port 80 or 443) remote desktop capabilities
- basic ticketing system that can assign jobs to admins, individual logins for users, email support into tickets, email to clients as tickets are updated.

Our environment.

- Mostly windows end users running XP
- We are a Windows and AIX shop, and preferably would like a ticket system that runs on windows ( Although I will never rule out Linux, maybe I can get them to finally let me have a Linux box here )

Any recommendations or anti recommendations are appreciated.
