Fun with linux && Linus out and about.

Just an FYI thread...

http://www.sltrib.com/2004/Mar/03232...ess/150310.asp

"Torvalds warned that his operating system now faces its most serious peril because of disputes over where free, publicly licensed software rights end and corporate intellectual property protection begin."

"To make its commitment to Linux complete, Messman added, all 225 PCs and laptops provided to conferees -- along with 25 network servers and 50 wireless access points -- were powered by Linux.
Furthermore, 100 percent of Novell's employees will be using Linux-based versions of Open Office, scrapping their more recent use of Microsoft Office programs. "

wow, very nice and awsome to see that.

Novell will give M$ more then a challange. i know a M$ guru who has left M$ and returned to Novell. he was around when novell was a fledgling and is considered one of the top M$ gurus in the US in the training and consolting areas for networking with M$ and has co-authored a few books reguarding M$ OS server line.

this is very nice to read.
