Freshmeat & Sourceforge


This is a n00b question i guess but i can't figure it out. whats the difference between the too?

i think freshmeat just has links to new packages, updates, releases, ect. i don't think they do any of their own hosting, but i could be wrong. sourceforge, on the other hand, has a whole slew of cvs-ed packages being developed with sourceforge being a major hub between the developers.
