If you fancy a laugh from your legally-downloaded MP3s, check out "London Underground" - an excellent song that will be appreciated by anybody who's had to rely on public transport.
Warning: Contains swearing!
P.S. Downloading music illegally isn't theft under any legal definition - it's copyright infringment. A technicality, but an important one. . .

I personally use Rhapsody 25. I get 25 free streams a month that are free and legal. They also have over a million songs to choose from including indie music. The quality is also way better than any ps2 program I have tried and I never have any errors. Their ad free radio is also good to jam to while working on the computer.
If you are looking for a good p2p service I would have a look at Apollon. This application is a front end for the giftd daemon and it allows you to connect to the Kazaa (FastTrack) network, Gnutella, Ares and OpenFT networks, great for all types of files and if you have just migrated from Windows you will feel right at home. I am not going to go into the moral ethics behind p2p as clearly some people here like to do so just make sure when you download you are following the copyright laws in your country.
If one continues this discutiion, I will announce a moderator.
LOL, you come in talking about p2p, i.e. warez, illegal downloading (which is not allowed in this forum) and when people tell you it's illegal you threaten to "announce a moderator". That's awesome
Maybe we should threaten to "announce your isp"
All right anyway, torrents are great for p2p. Check out sf.net for azureus.
nolimitz - please post in English to the LQ boards. English is the primary language here and on the internet.
All, whatever your personal beliefs on downloading music that is not Creative Commons or otherwise designated "free" (in any sense of the word) by the owners, it is illegal in the US - which is where our servers are located. The 'sue-happy' RIAA are probably scribbling out the warrant in crayon right now. So I am preemptively closing this thread.
Final note: the 'London Underground' song is from the album "Licence to Practice" and was sold to help a breast cancer charity. By not buying it, you are depriving a worthy cause of money. For those of you who have downloaded it, shame on you. Donate money now. I bought it and so hold the moral high ground.
