Fixing garbled screen font

Ok,
I learned this today and wanted to share it:
if the terminal font gets garbled/unreadable (usually by cat'ing a binary file)
type reset and press enter to restore the font.

Moved: This thread is more suitable in <GENERAL> as it holds no question, and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.

For future reference: such things should go in the answers or the wiki section,
not into the question forums.
