I got Chinese sites displaying Chinese, and that
Hardware Central site displaying English - btw
I get a 503 on your website - really wanted to
see a photo of that wooden case ;-)
Using Firefox-0.9.3 - removed 1.0PR last night
because it crashed a few times...
ya my servers been down a while. waiting on fedora 3. but i'm installing win2000 server right now because i want it back up again. should be up in a few hours.
i don't mean the normal text is chinese i mean all that is displayed is chinese.
i posted the question at hardwarecentral and could attach a picture to it. i don't like doing this, but i doubt too many people will see this. picture here

That is strange. There's no graphics. The jpeg was too small to see anything
clearly when I enlarged it with GIMP, so I can't read anything - even with a
magnifying glass. It'll be interesting to see what HWC has to say - please
post back. It doesn't really look like page source, because AFAIK you have
to write html (and others) in English. There is no code, so to speak.
Well, mate, you are using Windoze there! One of the reasons I migrated is
because there were just too many questions about freaky things and system
problems in Windoze that couldn't be answered or fixed. Have you tried the
same page in Linux?
I'll want to see your site when you get it back up. You could even email
me a reminder if you'd like...

i have 2 machines.. so i have windows on the main one (this one, not in sig below) and then my server. which had linux on it until i wanted to play with win2003 server.
i haven't seen the webpage thing happen on any other brower on this machine or any other machines.. it's a real rare problem.
is there a way to completely uninstall firefox? cause i did a add/remove of firefox.. downloaded the newest one and everything can back up as if i never uninstalled it. now i know firefox is smart, but it must have some records left behind. i want to get ride of it all and see if that fixes my problem.
Don't hold me to it, for my Windoze days are over...
I think you'll need to uninstall Firefox from the
Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs, then remove
any Folders, then remove it from the Registry - ymmv

All I can say is
Code:
Welcome to Windoze.
Your mouse has moved.
You must reboot...

Nice case. Why pine? How do you keep the components clean?
I guess they're easy to reach, and probably cooler with those
two small helicopter rotors you got there. ;-)
Thanks for the link to your site. I'll check it out later.
Had to use a proxy server to get there.
it was cheap and easy to cut. no real reason though. yep those 12cm vantec stealths are pretty nice. i do need a better heatsink on the cpu though. it's an intel that came with a celeron 1ghz. does the job, but if it's a hot day and i'm running it hard it's not quite good enough on a athlon 1.2ghz.
it was on pretty much all summer and i haven't cleaned it yet. aside from dust around the grills it's not too bad. may take the vacuum to it someday.
Where we live, you keep 'em locked up and still clean
one that runs 24/7 about every week.
Now, shame on you for putting a cheap old Intel fan on
a mighty AMD cooker.
I just remembered why I was fascinated about the case.
There's a guy on the helpdesk where I have my email
service that wants to run a Linux box, and he says he has
all the parts, but can't afford a case. New excuse came up
when I posted a link to a $15 one online - he won't use
his credit card online and they won't take checks. I told
him he could mount his board and drives on a piece of
wood, for that mattter....
