Kernel compilation gets easier and easier each time. I just kept re-running make xconfig on the same config file until I had it tweaked just right. ACPI, USB-Networking, everything is working. Sorry just had to celebrate....

Is it just me or is the new 2.6.0-test1 kernel BUGGY? It killed my keyboard and touchpad. I am going to go back to the wonderfully stable 2.4.21 kernel. At least for laptop purposes .
