Is anyone writing NEW Dos games?
I am thinking that some of the early DOS games might be the easiest to port to Android (along with the other way, porting from Android to DOS) as long as they do not depend on the networking.

I don't think they'd be easy to port at all, unless you're using DosBox to do the port. Surely you know what DOS game programming is like?
The Simon the Sorcerer games did get Android ports though.
MS Flight Simulator 3 & 4. The former on the old IBM XT with 640KB RAM. The stuttering animation didn't allow much more than straight and level flight, let alone abrupt maneuvers. However, it was cool.

Both are full-screen screenshots taken on my MacBook. That's why they're so large (2560x1600).
If you watch GDCVault's LOOM Postmortem, it should become clear that the reason EGA (and Genesis and Mega Drive) game artists used dithering is because the monitors (and TVs) of the day displayed dithering as solid colors. Therefore, I'd actually consider a game to be incorrectly emulated if you see dithering as dithering.
