Hey everyone, just wondering if there is a place I can download a copy of Windows 2000, which I have a license for, but not the actual software. With a 350mb FAP on my satellite, I don't think bittorrent would like me.
If your "license" was OEM, you should be able to get a replacement from the PC Vendor. If it was registered with Microsoft, try to get a live person on the phone and explain your problem ... They might send you a replacement.
Either way, it's gonna be torturous.
This ain't no Debian question ... Report it, and request that it be moved to "General"
Dowloading Windows (legally)
Asking for warez (even though making it sound legitimate saying "legally") is against the LQ Rules.
And no, you can't. Thread closed && dumped in /General.
