correct fsb jumper on motherboard???

OK: here is the deal
I just got the parts in for upgading my PC
MB Chaintech VIA KT600 + VT8237 RT 266/333/400MHz
CPU 2600/333 ATHLON XP BARTON

DDRAM PC-3200 512M KINGMAX
HD 120GB|Samsung SATA 8MB
I'm keeping my ATI radeon 9000 for now

My question is, what do I need to set the motherboard FSB ( 166 or can I set it to 200 ) to match the CPU fsb??? Really I want to know if setting it to 200 will create any CPU problems??

If your cpu can handle 200 for the FSB, then you shouldn't have any problems. Check with the manufacturers for more details.

On an athlon system you multiply the FSB by 2. So with the 2600+ with a 333FSB you need a to set the FSB on the board to 166. If you move the FSB upto 200 you will be overclocking the processor.
