Converts a USB webcam into a network server camera?

HI,

On a Raspberry I would like to make it control few rj45 -networked webcams (usb).

For that I could find this device. I haven't wifi and do not need it since in all rooms there is ethernet (regular rj45).

Have you experience with this ? does it work well, or better might be advised?
