With the amount of jobs outsourced to India. I cannot see you people really parched for jobs. Heck, I was reading an article that India will have to start outsourcing jobs to other nations by 2010 because the universities are not producing enough educated professionals. But the outsourcing in both nations can be seen as good and bad considering that developing nations really need these types of jobs. Considering where India was ten years ago before IIT took off and all of the outsourcing. The amount of break throughs and enrichment of lives in other nations has only increased from the information technology age. Many poor countries are turning their economies around because of this fact.

Vietnam is another poor country that seems to be reaping from the information technology age. Corresponding with the jobs that are being presented regarding their workers. These jobs from Intel and other companies will prooduce better life and increase imports and exports.

Sorry to fall far from the topic but I'm bored right now.

Honestly....

its not what you know...but who you know...

The President of the United States is a perfect example of this logic.

India does have a lot of manpower (2nd largest populous country) in the world.
What it lacks is that the controlling powers don't seem to make things work! There is infrastructure that is growing, the industries, the investors, etc.

What the industry demands is educated manpower, which is slightly difficult for people who are not economically strong.

Those who educate themselves, fly away, seeking opportunities. All this leaves out people, who don't have the essential skills.

Wake up india, wake up!

Well, you should have some communication with GNU/Linux user groups of Hyderabad or Bangalore...they would be able to help you.

The problem is not finding job cos there are tons of openings in many cities in India. Linux is growing in a very fast pace in this country.

I was a fresher when i got a job and started working on Linux. i have seen thousands of people get jobs on Linux. So i dont see any problems faced by you in the future.
