about UTP cat5e

I have a new, packed from the company UTP cat5e cable. Now however, i need to pass it through a hole in the wall and i need to take out one of the rj-45 clips and put a new one afetrwards. I know how to make patch and straight cables, but as this cable is not custom-made will i have any problems afterwards?
Thanks

If they didn't follow either standard when they put their ends on then just clip both off. or do it properly with ends terminated in jacks and patch cables.
