Hello forum
I am new to the fedora comunity. I have installed a image of fedora 17 on a hp dv6 intel core two. Im struggeling with the comands required to activate wireless on this dv6. can any one assist me in this endevor?
Thank you for your reply. The dv6 in question was given to my wife who runs windows 7. so sad , but She needs office features at the moment. Well when I replaced the hd into this dv6 I got to hp's site and they updated the drivers for it. Now It gets Internet of of the wireless. At the moment I am running fed 17 on an hp pavillion a815n. I can not get the Cisco linlsys ae2500 to function. I love this os, although I am new to the comunity. Fedora does so much with so little. It has expanded my computing options. do you have any ideas?
I know Fedora is nice! I'm going to be installing it myself soon. BTW I am still learning about Fedora and looking for this information; too. I'm looking now on how to install a driver.
Here is one way to get the adapter to work that I found but I really do not want; and you may not want to use Ndiswrapper. I'll continue to look and see if there is some other way to accomplish this.
