rpm files

I just installed Fedora 2.0 and then downloaded an RPM file for Anjuta development IDE.

When I double click on the RPM file, it says there's no application associated with 'rpm'

any help appreciated.

You'll find your answer here for installing from an file browser via double click (graphical mode).

If you want to install from console (text mode), please check this post in the same thread as above.

Welcome to LQ.

You can install it with install it:
rpm -ivh /path/to/file.rpm
