how do i remove old kernel version?

hi i just installed fedora 3 and have no experience whatsoever.
i just updated the kernel version to 2.xx.10 or something like that. and now whenever i boot with grub, i have two options of kernels. the new 2.xx.10 kernel or the old 2.xx.9 version. obviously i dont think i will need the old kernel. so my question is how do i uninstall that kernel? any one know? thanks in advance.

you would dete the files from /boot and remove the reference in /etc/grub.conf, but i'd keep the old kernel until i'm sure the new one works

To see what kernel you are running, do uname -a

To see all installed kernels:
rpm -qa | grep kernel

To remove one, follow this example:
rpm -e kernel-2.6.9

That will take care of removing the files and editing grub.conf for you.
