Fedora Core 4: Upgrade or Clean Install?

I have Fedora Core 3 setup right now, and all of my menus and apps are set up just as I like them. So, I have a few questiosn about Fedora Core 4:

- Will I be able to keep all of my settings, such as my theme and installed apps?
- Is it better to do an upgrade installation, or should I format and reinstall everything?

An upgrade using the Fedora Core installation CD's should be okay. You can do a clean install if the upgrade gets borked. The best thing to do is to have a seperate /home partition so that if things go wrong your important data remains intact.

upgrading should be fine.my core4 install started as RH9 and has been upgraded over time.
