FC4 - SATA drives and Crossover Questions

Can anyone tell me if the problems using SATA drives have been resolved with the arrival of FC4?

Also, does Crossover work with FC4? It's not that I want to use MS Office but that there are still some Win apps that I need.

Thanks.

I don't know all of the details but saw postings regarding problems with SATA drives in the last two weeks here and was wondering.
