Current Fedora version is 34! Fedora support is generally two versions behind release, so the oldest supported version would be 32. Why are you trying to install version 23?

Since you don't bother telling us what the errors actually ARE, what do you think we can tell you? Beyond that, as you were told, don't install something so old and insecure..install the latest version.

If you tell us what software you're working with, what error(s) you're seeing and what you're doing to see them, we can try to help. Just saying "errors" tells us nothing.

RHEL 8 is based on Fedora 28, so you may try one of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux derivatives instead (I don't suggest CentOS, because CentOS 8 will EOL Dec 2021, and CentOS Stream may or may not suite you).

If you want something stable and supported, you should not be installing Fedora. It is a rapid progress developer distribution that goes our of support quickly. Something RHEL based, perhaps Rocky Linux or Scientific Linux, might serve you better.

Fedora 23 is six years old .... and usually runs OK with a seven to ten year old "workstation".

You never actually told us what your problem was. And if you found a solution, why don't you post it, so others can benefit?

Right; again, you have *STILL* not told us what your actual problem was, or what you did you resolve it. AGAIN, sharing the answer helps the community you came to for help, doesn't it???
