DVD question

Hello. I downloaded the core 6 dvd, all the sums and checks came out ok. The iso was 3.3 gb. I burned it with k3b on my ubuntu machine, it said no errors. When I tried my new dvd in VMware, it booted, but then said it 'cannot find linux'. I then tried it on my real machine, and got the same error. Did I burn the disk wrong? has anyone else gotten this error?

I got that the first time I burned my FC6 i386 dvd iso but I think it was because the DVD where I burned it on was defect, so I tried another DVD and that worked well... so maybe you could try other writeble DVD's or something?
