Core 2 Test 2 can't find suitable devices...

Hi all

I'm trying to install Fedora Core 2 Test 2 x86-64 on an Athlon64 3000+, using a Gigabyte K8Triton series motherboard. The problem is, after choosing to manually partition (or automatically partition, for that matter), it complains that:

"No valid devices found on which to create new file systems".

After clicking OK, it shuts down cleanly. This is annoying... Anyone know of a fix, other than burning another 4 CD's to try test3?

There are two IDE hard disks in the machine. Windows 2000 runs just fine, and there is unformatted space on the second drive, where I'd like to install Linux. The drives are both readable/writable from within Windows.

Help...

Thanks
rob
