X.org 7 problem


i use the SRPM from
ftp://chuck.ucs.indiana.edu/pub/arra...elopment/SRPMS
to rebuild my X.org-7 system

but some problem come out.
from xorg-x11-fonts-7.0{....}.src.rpm, i got some packages.
Install these packages, the FONT will be installed in "/usr/share/X11/fonts"
but "mkfontdir" command can not work well in these directory

You are installing a src rpm which only installs source code. You have to go into the directory where the source code is installed and build the fonts, usually like this:
./configure
make
su -c "make install"
