Question Will Fedora10 be available today?

Will Fedora10 be available today for downloading or will it take few days to get a free mirror for download? I mean can fedora mirrors will be able to accommodate all the eager users?

Fedora 10 will be available in a few hours. Because of the heavy traffic the mirrors will face it is advised to use torrents for downloading the new ISO. Don't forget that there are many users who will be upgrading their Fedora 9 using the same mirrors.

In reality it has been available since Friday. When they push the new version out to all the mirrors they always open a few right away. They always claim this is unintentional but one of the real reasons they do it is so they get a large number of people seeding it and posting it to usenet right away. It also gives the older user base a head start at getting it (the final version) installed, so they can help the newer users with whatever issue eventually pop up.

It should be out officially in a few hours, its all ready 25th evening here. Besides I'm already on it, installed the Preview release / rawhide initially, but now its been updated to full 10 release and all the mirrors reflect the same.

I am trying to download it through torrnet. It says it is downloading from 40 sources but i guess mirrors are all too dam busy that i cant get download speed more than 2KB/S.

I hope that situation will improve in a day or so??

As far as I read many people have speed problems using torrents. I downloaded it from http at a fast speed.

For anyone interested here is a tutorial.
