/var/log/boot.log has size 0 ??

[root@sage log]# ll boot.log
-rw------- 1 root root 0 Jun 10 04:15 boot.log

I am having boot errors but nothing is being written to boot.log. It is just an empty file. Why on earth could this be?

Try checking the /var/log/messages and other files instead.

Also this is a known issue about the empty boot.log file for a while now;

Wow, that's pretty bad. I should probably either switch distros or learn how to fix that issue now.
