What kind of USB drive do you have? (Floppy/Zip/Portable “Hard” Disk/CD/CD-R/DVD/DVD-R/…) And what make is it?

Fedora is likely to support just as many USB devices as any other distribuition, and as far as I know no-one is selling commercial USB device drivers for Linux.

Check to see if your particular drive is supported, and look for installation instructions (e.g. on http://www.tldp.org)

Most drives support a standard called the “USB Mass Storage” protocol. To get these working, you normally just have to run “modprobe usb-storage” (Fedora will probably already do this for you), and then mount the device somewhere.

It is very unlikely that you will be able to buy a USB CD-RW driver for Linux.

However, Linux does support at least some CD-RW devices. In general, if it's supported in the kernel then it will run on all major linux distributions. If you want to know specifically if Fedora supports it, look on Fedora's web-site; it may tell you. (I don't know anything about Fedora itself, so I can't answer that one myself.)

Even if it's not listed as supported directly by Fedora, you can still get it working if the Linux kernel has a driver for it. (Most drivers ship with the kernel, so it should already be installed by Fedora). See the Hardware-HOWTO for a good starting point.

For more detailed information on getting it set up and working (including how to find out which particular USB CD-RW drive you have), see http://www.linux-usb.org/USB-guide/book1.html
