upgrade kernel 2.6.4 on FC!

Hello Friends,

I had compiled kernel 2.6.4 on FC1. System is running fine except only one problem.

I had Intel Pro/100 VE in my machine. I had included driver e100 in the kernel.

Problem : Network fails after every 5-10 min means after every 5-10 min, Machine is not able to communication with other machines.

So, What is the problem ? It's a bug ?

it happened to me also, i dont know its working fine then before the new the new updates arrived (fc1 kernel updates).

i installed fc2, on the same machine, same lan connection and everything is working smoothly.

Hi,

i had installed Fedora Core 2. It's working fine. But due to other problems like Speed in Core 2, I want to stick with Fedora Core 1 with 2.6.4 Kernel.

Can any one give me solution for that.... It's problem of Intel Pro/100 Card driver problem or configuration problem ?/
