touchpad speed extremely slow


after performing an update this morning, my fedora 20 system is facing extremely slow touchpad pointer speed issue.

how do i resolve this?

It would help to know what hardware you're running on. Be that as it may, perhaps the discussion that starts here will be of help

I had the exact same issue and after another update (today) the problem seems to have resolved itself
