Question Suspicious & strange mount problem..?!?!?!

Dear All

Here is my fstab.
Code:
LABEL=/1                /                       ext3    defaults        1 1
tmpfs                   /dev/shm                tmpfs   defaults        0 0
devpts                  /dev/pts                devpts  gid=5,mode=620  0 0
sysfs                   /sys                    sysfs   defaults        0 0
proc                    /proc                   proc    defaults        0 0
LABEL=/home1            /home                   ext3    defaults        1 2
LABEL=/usr1             /usr                    ext3    defaults        1 2
LABEL=SWAP-sdc9         swap                    swap    defaults        0 0
LABEL=SWAP-sdb9         swap                    swap    defaults        0 0
/dev/sda1		/media/win_system	vfat	auto,noexec,quiet,umask=0000 0 0
/dev/sda5		/media/win_software	vfat	auto,noexec,quiet,umask=0000 0 0
/dev/sda6		/media/win_media	vfat	auto,noexec,quiet,umask=0000 0 0
/dev/sda7		/media/win_games	vfat	auto,noexec,quiet,umask=0000 0 0
/dev/sda8		/media/win_backup	vfat	auto,noexec,quiet,umask=0000 0 0
/dev/sdb10		/media/win_misc1	vfat	auto,noexec,quiet,umask=0000 0 0
/dev/sdb11		/media/win_misc2	vfat	auto,noexec,quiet,umask=0000 0 0
/dev/sdb2		/media/win_misc3	vfat	auto,noexec,quiet,umask=0000 0 0
/dev/sdc5		/media/DATA		vfat	auto,noexec,quiet,umask=0000 0 0
This problem started recently, not sure why, but I've had some power cuts these days, nothing serious though. I use Gnome always, so Nautilus is my file browser, but it hangs everytime I open win_media. I have to force quit it, if not it eats all my memory and swap and the system drags. Also I tried mounting it separately but its the same. What could be the problem??

This happens only in my login, and only with Nautilus. Thunar, Konqueror etc work fine here. If you need any more info, please let me know.

Thanks.

Load up Windows and run chkdsk /f or whatever option it is that fixes problems on that drive.

You might also try fsck.vfat.
