Hi!
I just bought a new laptop. It's configuration is-
AMD turion 64 x2
2GB, 250GB, ATI Raedeon Graphics Card.
I want to install fedora on it. Which iso file I should download for my machine- i386, i686 or x64-86?
Further more after this i want to install VLSI CAD Tool-ALLIANCE on it. It requires open motif libraries. From where I can get it?
Waiting for reply. It's needed for my graduation project.
Thank You.
Well you probably want a DVD, so there's no 686, and I'd suggest the 386, since there are 64_86 issues around various plug-ins (flash for example) and not major performance increases for a laptop.
from where i can get suitable openmotif libraries for fedora 9

I downloaded FC9 and got installed. But i'm still stucked in libraries/dependencies for my tool. Can you help for that?
Teek, as I see it (and I'm no expert here), certain applications experience better 64 bit pickups that others - mysql being one. I suspect on a desktop (ie not server) it doesn't matter much.
