ssh-agent process not killed

Dear Moderator,

First let me say that I'm not entirely sure this is an FC3 issue, it could be X or SSH. So if you feel this thread belongs elsewhere, kindly move it to get the exposure I need. Thanx.

I've noticed that everytime I log into X a new "/usr/bin/ssh-agent-s" process is started. However, this process is not killed when I logout or log back in. Instead, a new one is created and the old one remains.

As I don't turn off the machine or restart it unless ABSOLUTELY necessary, these processes are adding up and I have to kill them manually every once in a while.

Could someone tell me why this is happening and how to overcome it?

PS: I have added the SSH key for a machine on my local network in ~/.ssh/known_hosts

Any and all help is appreciated
