Talking security patches

As I'am only a beginner I would be very grateful if someone could help me. I installed this program called crossover office and it allows to run windows applications like MS Office under Linux or Fedora as it is called now and it was quite a smood installation I should say. So I installed office and it works but every time I run some application for example Word it says that my system appears to contain some security patch that could cause trouble running some crossover applications. It s really annoying so if anyone could tell me how to disable this security patches .... it would make me very happy!

More info needed, post the message as its displayed, also which version of crossover office and Fedora so that assumptions are not necessary. This could be exec-shield related, but that's nothing more than a guess without more info. Crossover's support may have more specific information about this as well, if exec-shield is to blame then RH9 is also effected and probably mentioned.
