Rsync FC4 or 5 to Win Box?

I was wondering if I can use the rsync command to sync a FC4-32 or FC5-64 box to a Win2000 box? They are all see each other as part of the same workgroup through samba.

How would I refer to the Win box especially since Win uses drive letters and I wouldn't think drive letters mean anything to Linux machine?

Thanks for your help.

One of the computers in each rsync transaction needs to be running an rsync server. At a guess I'd say the easiest thing to do would be setup an rsync server on your Linux boxes, and then rsync via Cygwin in Windows. Cygwin mounts your Windows partitions in /cygdrive/drive_letter/

This link might help you (one of the first results on Google).

Ok, thanks, I'll try it. I did download and install two different SSH apps for the Win machine in case it was looking for an SSH link, but it didn't make a difference.

Okay, I may be coming back to this too late to be any help to you, but there is a mention of tunneling rsync through ssh on this page. You could also try checking out zsync, which doesn't require an rsync server but uses a webserver instead. You can read more about it here.
