i have recently upgraded my Linux from Redhat 9 to Fedora Core 5. installation went fine. my monitor was detected, graphics card was detected.i installed FC-5 using GUI so u can see that all things went fine with GUI.when i booted after completing installation GRUB loaded fine but when X Server was loading it gave error like
(EE) xf86Open serial: cannot open device /dev/psaux
(EE) Mouse: cannot open input device.

key board is working fine. then i logged on to the console and started
startx
again but it gave same message.
can some one help out here. i will be obliged

The mouse should be /dev/input/mice instead of /dev/psaux. Edit /etc/X11/xorg.config and change your mouse device to /dev/input/mice.

i will try this one right away and let u know. any other suggestions will be of help too.
