Philips LCD Monitor 190B driver

Hi folks,

FC5_64
AMD Athlon 64
Philips LCD monitor 190B
Graphic Card - Nvidia GeForce 6600, 256MB DDR II/128bit

On the monitor drop-list I can't find Philips 190B so I selected "Philips 109S" instead.

Conf of /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Code:
....
Section "Monitor"
        Identifier "Monitor0"
        VendorName "Monitor Vendor"
        ModelName "Philips 109S"
 ### Comment all HorizSync and VertSync values to use DDC:
        HorizSync 30.0 - 95.0
        VertRefresh 50.0 - 160.0
        Option "dpms"
....
Section "Device"
        Identifier "Videocard0"
        Driver "nv"
        VendorName "Videocard vendor"
BoardName "nVidia Corporation NV43 [GeForce 6600]"
....
Section "Screen"
        Identifier "Screen0"
        Device "Videocard0"
        Monitor "Monitor0"
        DefaultDepth 24
        SubSection "Display"
                Viewport 0 0
                Depth 16
                Modes "1280x1024"
        EndSubSection
        SubSection "Display"
                Viewport 0 0
                Depth 24
                Modes "1280x1024"
        EndSubSection
...
Please advise where can I have its driver download. TIA

B.R.

It is not a hardware driver download for the monitor that you need, this is not Windows, but you might need to upgrade the hwdata (and releated) rpm packages.

It is not really required, if the Philips 109S LCD monitor has the same resolution specs as the Philips 109B LCD monitor then you really do not have to do anything for the monitor.

You do have an nVidia graphics card so you might want to visit;

And read the "sticky" note at the top of this forum re nVidia drivers.
