PDF viewer problem

I am using Fedora Core 2, and a few days ago I opened a PDF to read it. It was good!

It what was such good reading that I thought I would like to read it again next time I logged on, so I chose "save current set up" when I logged out.

But now I can't get rid of the PDF viewer window. If I choose quite or click on the window close button, it crashes, wiping out the desktop icons it is hovering above. Everything seems fine if I just leave it there, but I would like to get rid of it.

Any ideas what I can do?

In a terminal, use 'ps axww | grep xpdf' to find the PID of the program, then kill it, e.g:

Code:
[bash]$ ps axww | grep xpdf
12966 pts/48 Ss 0:00 xpdf
[bash]$ kill -9 12966
Then log off and have it save the desktop again.

Just FYI, you could also use the Hat->Preferences->Sessions thingy to remove stuff from your session.
