oracle installation

Hi there. I am trying to install the latest oracle DBMS in my fedora distro. It doesn't seem to working properly. Have u ever tried it? Any suggestion and help avaliable?

do u know how much disk space is required for the installation?

A lot. But it really depends on what you are installing. Are you running a DB server? You will have to plan out your tablespaces based on how much data you're jamming in there. If it's just SQL*Net and SQL*Plus and the clients, only a couple hundred meg will do the trick.

Thx for the replyin. I have downloaded everything from the oracle's site and i need to install all of them...so how many gigabytes i must allocate?
