No Internet activity, but it is connected? help?


my ethernet light now stays on,(no blinking), and web pages take 5 mins to load minimum. running a fresh copy of fc5, was working great till i changed my screen resolution, no idea why. any ideas? it is connected and recieving a ip from my dhcp. just won't load web pages.

check dns

i would check the dns to make sure you have entries.

cat /etc/resolv.conf

can you ping external ip addresses?
