NFS through iptables: unable to configure it

Hi.

Working with Fedora Core (at server and at client), I want client to access
server via NFS, but when trying to mount a local directory:
-----------
[local]# mount -o nfsvers=2 myserver:/home/mydir /home/serverdir -o nfsvers=2
mount to NFS server 'myserver' failed: server is down.
-----

I edited '/etc/sysconfig/iptables' at the server, adding this line:
-----
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 2049 -j ACCEPT
-----
and restarted iptables ('/etc/rc.d/init.d/iptables restart')

But it doesn't work. Any suggestion?

nfs uses rpc to dynamically assign ports for the actual data transfer. from what i'm aware it is possible to make rpc.mountd only use one single port though: http://www.lowth.com/LinWiz/nfs_help.html
