module-init-tools and new kernel yum update
Recently I began trying to get a 2.6 kernel working under Fedora.
Now i did the module-init-tools install. And while I never finished getting
the 2.6 kernel working, I never had a problem with the 2.4 kernels.
After doing the update for the 2135 kernel update through yum, when I booted
the kernel couldn't load the modules complaining of the insmod didn't work.
Error basically said it couldn't find the old version of the insmod, which is
insmod.old.
However I could still load the 2129 kernel no problem.
Any ideas what is wrong or what can fix the problem.
Thanks alot
