mkv and mp3 player for fedora 18 lxde

Hi all,

Please guide me about media player so that I could play mp3 and .mkv file formats on my fedora 18 lxde.

those are supported by mplayer. if your using the LXDE desktop look for the smplayer or mplayer or gmplayer exine gxine.

Thanks John, I have tried the audacious player for mp3 but it says some codec issue, please tell me how to resolve the codec issue as I am facing this issue with 2 players.
